The people who make up Dursley & Hurst have 200 years collective experience working on Canal Boats. Here's a brief Biography of the bosses:

Tony Martin, Director

Tony has worked in the canal boat industry for over 2 decades. He's done everything there is to do on a boat – from fitting out, painting to installing engines. Born and bred in Wigan, Tony's expertise is a much sought-after commodity within the canal boat community.

David Hurst, Director

After many years excelling in the Financial sector, David decided to follow in his father's footsteps and became a Director at Dursley & Hurst in 2000. Since then, he has added a new dimension to D&H's legendary customer service and project completion rate. A true professional.

Every job requires various skills as and when required and we employ many temporary and freelance tradesmen who are recognised in the canal boat industry for their talents in the various fields of boat building.
